It’s good to see that people are really very concern for the environment and participating wholeheartedly with full enthusiasm. We would like to congratulate the winners and we appreciate the efforts that you all have put in to make this contest a success. We are overwhelmed by announcing our 3 lucky winners for this segment are:-
“Keep your world clean and green. Save trees, save the environment. Clean city, Green city.”
“To Save Our Mother Nature, Please Stop Using Plastic Bags.
There are plenty of little steps that people can help to save the environment but we don’t follow them. I am not using plastic poly bags since 5 years. Mostly I use paper bags or jute bags for all vegetables and fruits instead of asking for separate plastic bags for every buys because plastic bags are everywhere in our environment. When we go to purchase our groceries, we use plastic bags because they are convenient. In fact, in our modern lives, it has become part of us. However, the convenience of these plastic bags come at a very high cost to the environment and negatively affects human health. Several cities globally have begun banning the use of plastic bags while some have enforced restricted laws against the use of plastic bags because of the negative effects of the use of their usage. So if we think about our green future, then we should use paper bags or jute bags for every buy because paper bags are made from wood which is reusable, recyclable, biodegradable and eco-friendly. So let us make a pledge to stop using plastic bags and one day we shall also make our environment for evergreen. Thank you, Farlin India for organizing this wonderful contest. Happy #WorldEnvironmentDay.”
I have a passion for gardening. So, I have turned a part of our
terrace into a small green patch and planted some seasonal and tropical herbs and flowers. Gardening has become a great exercise for me.It reduces my stress and decreases depression. It is more than a good pastime, it has evolved into a form of therapy for my mind, body, and soul. By gardening, I can truly “go green” to benefit the Earth. Plants act as highly effective air cleaners by absorbing carbon dioxide plus many air pollutants, while releasing clean oxygen and fragrance. It cools my home in summer.I believe it’s a small way to fight against pollution.
